HostPlax Review and Interview

HostPlax takes value for money to a whole new level with their ultra-affordable hosting plans. Although they’re relatively new to the market compared to some, HostPlax have managed to successfully establish themselves as a serious hosting provider. They focus on value for money combined with an excellent customer experience.

Dhaval Thakkar was kind enough to speak with me and answer some questions that I had about HostPlax.

When and Why Was HostPlax Established?

HostPlax was established by Daniel B in 2018. As Daniel had 14 years of professional experience in web hosting and IT industries, moving towards building his own hosting company was a natural progression for him.

Daniel explained “I had a goal of providing the latest and top-notch services at low costs. Plax Corporation started with it’s first division HostPlax. HostPlax Cloud shared hosting is designed for the purpose of providing web hosting for small businesses, individuals and corporates that have requirements that are fairly simple. We provide them in a way that is reasonably priced in which businesses can use the services of the cloud web hosting.”

Fantastic Deals

HostPlax likes to treat its customers to fantastic deals such as their current 40% off Linux hosting plans. With their basic plan at just $0.95 per month already, an additional 40% off makes this outstanding value for money.

Dhaval also told me about a promotional offer they launched a little while ago; “HostPlax.com Web Hosting Company, A Division of Plax Corporation, announced in march 2019 that we would give away any of our web hosting plan for $1 for the 1st year and more than 4000 sign ups were received during this promo period”.

Its evident that the HosPlax team really enjoys offering customers a bargain or two!

HostPlax also happens to be the cheapest domain name provider and Dhaval mentioned “Cheap domains, Cloud shared hosting and Cloud VPS are our highest-selling products”.

Shared Hosting Plans

HostPlax’s shared hosting plans are built on SSDs and are protected by Raid10. These aspects combined, along with the company’s use of Litespeed, result in a fast and powerful server performance.

As stated earlier, the prices for Linux shared hosting begin at $0.95 and this will get you 1 hosted domain, 1GB SSD space, 20GB Bandwidth, and 5 email accounts. You also get to use cPanel, making managing your website easy and efficient.

The most expensive Linux shared hosting plan begins at $5.95 per month (excluding the 40% discount!) which is considerable value for money. This plan will allow you 10GB SSD space, 200GB Bandwidth, unlimited email accounts and a free domain for a lifetime.

VPS Hosting Plans

HostPlax’s VPS plans are fully managed, giving you a convenient, robust, and secure solution. Choose from Linux VPS or Windows VPS, depending on your individual needs. They are also instantly scalable, so they can easily keep up with the demands that come with owning a growing business.

If you’re interested in Linux VPS, prices begin at $64.95 per year. For this price, you will receive 30GB SSD space, 2GB RAM, 10TB Bandwidth and 2 CPU Cores.

Windows VPS costs from $125 per year. This gets you 80GB SSD space, 4GB RAM and 3TB bandwidth.

All VPS plans come with a free SSL and nightly backups of your data.

Does HostPlax Have Any Goals?

When I’m conducting an interview, I like to find out where a company is heading, from their point of view. With this in mind, Dhaval told me “We are not in a competition and nor do we compare ourselves with other companies. We just love doing this business. We love making our customers happy. Profit is not our main goal. We just love to see our customers happy. The ultimate goal is to make HOSTPLAX the most trustworthy brand”.

A very impressive answer in my opinion!

Lastly, Daniel had this to say “Try us. We promise you will never be disappointed. Join the HostPlax family”.

Thank you Daniel and Dhavel for taking time out of your day to speak to me. Good luck in all your future endeavours.
